Jill Myers spent the early part of her career as a litigator at national firms, representing clients in commercial and intellectual property cases before state and federal courts throughout California. After transitioning from law practice, she became a leader in the legal recruiting and professional development space in large and mid-size law firms and as a legal search and outplacement consultant. From 2016-2022, Jill served as a counselor in Loyola’s Career Development Office, working one-on-one with students, delivering professional development programming, and establishing and nurturing relationships with employers to help create job opportunities for Loyola students and graduates. Jill brings her experience and passion to her current role as Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs. In this capacity, she works with the Associate Dean for Faculty, the Associate Dean for Clinical Programs & Experiential Learning and the Office of the Registrar to determine the Law School’s curricular needs and create the academic course and exam schedules. Along with the Associate Dean for Faculty, Jill also vets, hires and helps to train adjunct faculty; and she collaborates with departments across the Law School to help manage the various aspects of Loyola’s ABA compliance.
