Background
Sonia Lee Yagura is an Associate Clinical Professor of Law who also serves as an Academic Success Program (ASP) Advisor. She currently teaches Law & Process: Privacy Torts. She previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Law School, teaching Legal Methods I: Legal Writing and Analysis for the Master of Science in Legal Studies (MLS) program and as a Writing Specialist.
Upon graduation, Professor Yagura practiced general civil commercial litigation as an associate at O’Melveny & Myers LLP. She transitioned into teaching as a Supervising Attorney and then Acting Director of USC Gould School of Law’s Domestic Violence Clinic. After a hiatus to raise her children, she returned to teaching at Southwestern Law School as an Adjunct Professor where she taught Refining Your Legal Writing and co-taught Law Review: Staff classes.
