Over the past several years, the U.S. Department of Justice has aggressively revamped enforcement policies promoting DOJ’s push to hold executives and foreign actors accountable for white collar offenses. Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco and other senior DOJ officials have cracked down on perceived criminal and civil corporate fraud offenses by incentivizing companies to self-disclose wrongdoing and to invest more resources into corporate compliance and other matters implicating national security threats. White collar practitioners are still reacting and adjusting to these DOJ policy shifts. This presentation will review current trends in federal corporate white collar enforcement and forecast what to expect in 2025.
