Each year, Loyola Law School admits a small number of exceptional transfer applicants. To be considered for admission, certain criteria should be met prior to applying. In order to be eligible to apply:
- Applicants must have attended another American Bar Association accredited law school.
- Applicants must be in good standing and eligible to continue at their current law school.
- Applicants must have completed an entire first-year curriculum at their law school.
- Loyola will only accept a maximum of 29 units awarded at another institution; additional units will NOT be credited toward the JD degree at Loyola.
Transfer students are eligible to participate in law review, moot court, on-campus interviews, and several other opportunities. Transfer students are only admitted for the Fall semester. For more information on the application process, please click here.
