The Transactional Lawyering Institute at Loyola Law School was formed to create experiential learning opportunities for students interested in the practice of transactional business law. The Institute features a deal negotiation competition in which students compete for an annual award, experiential transactional courses, events for students and lawyers focused on business law developments and transactional practice, pro bono opportunities for students to put their transactional knowledge to work in the community, and externship opportunities to gain real-life firm and in-house experience in transactional practice.
