Loyola Law School is committed to preparing students for public interest careers. We offer a variety of programs and resources to help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to make a difference in the world.
- Our Public Interest Law Concentration provides students with exposure to both the theory and practice of legal careers in many varied areas of public interest law.
- Our students have the opportunity to gain practice experience in their area of interest before graduation, through the Loyola Social Justice Law Clinic and Public Interest Field Placements
- Public Interest Career Fairs, mentorship programs through the Public Interest Law Foundation, and Loyola’s extensive network of pro bono partners provide connections for our students to preeminent public interest organizations, where many of our students have gone on to practice after graduation.
- Loyola Law School faculty and the Public Interest Law Department provide support and mentorship for our students applying to Post Graduate Fellowships, including the Loyola Law School Postgraduate Public Interest Fellowship Program.
- Students at any stage of the law school experience can easily access relevant public interest resources through our Public Interest Career Preparation Timeline, and by communicating with our Public Interest Law Department.
