Ms. Kristina Fitz is a survivor leader of the commercial sex industry and works closely with a variety of community partners on issues involving the Sexual Exploitation of Children. Kristina provides education and training to local community partners on information about Human Trafficking. This includes participating in speaking engagements and training events within Los Angeles county and nationally, effectively bringing awareness to the population of today’s youth and young adults still involved in exploitation. Ms. Fitz currently provides case management support to youth who have been involved in commercial exploitation at Children's Law Center. Kristina also works closely to provide mental support and guidance to youth and young adults reaching them at individual stages of maturing in their lives. In addition, Kristina is also involved in various task force committees across Los Angeles County dedicated to ending human trafficking and uplifting survivors. Kristina has been featured on NPR radio and channel 7 news discussing issues involving human trafficking in Los Angeles county. Kristina has also provided her expertise in various health, intervention, and prevention curriculums to help youth involved in commercial sexual exploitation. In 2021 Ms. Fitz started her nonprofit organization called SheWood Inc. to help support and uplift other survivors out of exploitation and provided survivors with a community for healthy healing. Ms. Fitz recently graduated with her bachelor's degree in Sociology from Cal State Dominguez Hills University.
