Catherine Clark Perkins

Cat Clark-Perkins is survivor of sexual assault, an event during her teenage years that marked the beginning of her long-term experience with trauma. While the road to recovery was difficult, at times, overwhelming, Cat has been determined to move forward with strength and resilience. Cat is an entrepeneur, life coach, Certified Peer Reentry Relationships Specialist and a Domestic Violence Counselor, Advocate, and Trainer. She is also a deeply committed Core Leader with Crime Survivor for Safety and Justice in Los Angeles and founder of her own non-profit organization, Catron Academy Learning Institute, which is dedicated to empowering and educating people impacted by the criminal justice system. In addition, Cat currently serves as Case Manager with Timelist Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving families and communities impacted by incarceration, poverty, academic and economic barriers. Cat also sits on the board of directors for the United Black Family Scholarship Foundation.
