Loyola Law School, Los Angeles sits astride Los Angeles’ legal, financial and entertainment epicenters. Most of downtown LA’s major law firms are a five-minute ride away on the school’s continuously running shuttle. And just a little farther are the city’s major courts, including Los Angeles County Superior Court and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. In fact, Loyola is just blocks from the largest government district outside of Washington, D.C. – closer to downtown LA courts than any other law school.

Loyola Law School’s proximity to LA’s legal hub makes it easy for prominent alumni to return to campus for speaking and hiring events, and it makes commuting to an externship or clerkship a breeze. Many students park at Loyola and take the school shuttle to their placements in judges’ chambers or in the offices of big firms, the district attorney or the public defender.

Fun is never far away at Loyola, which is a short walk (or even shorter shuttle ride) away from LA Live and Crypto Arena, home to major concerts and the Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers, Kings and other teams. The entertainment and sports complex also houses a movie theater, hotels and several world-class restaurants.

Calling the Pico-Union district of LA its home, Loyola Law School abuts the vibrant Koreatown, with its eclectic selection of restaurants and shops that dot Olympic Boulevard and its arteries. And for those looking for a taste of the indie scene, Silver Lake’s arts stores, nightlife and frequent festivals are a short drive or bike ride away.
