Prof. Natapoff quoted by Texas Tribune on snitches in capital cases
On Nov. 28, 2012, the Texas Tribune spoke with Professor Alexandra Natapoff about the role of snitching in Texas murder cases. Natapoff is the author of Snitching: Criminal Informants and the Erosion of American Justice and runs Snitching.org, a portal dedicated to covering developments in law-enforcement use of confidential informants.
"Odd as it may sound, Texas is at the vanguard of snitch testimony ... The use of criminal informants is a massive source of error in our most serious cases.”
