Prof. Caplan discussed Supreme Court opinion on prayer at town meetings

Professor Aaron Caplan discussed on KNX-1070 AM the U.S. Supreme Court's opinion in Town of Greece v. Galloway, in which the plaintiffs challenged a city's incorporation of prayer into its town meetings. While the opinion allowed the tradition to stand, Caplan noted that it did offer a glimpse at what the court might consider impermissible.

“The opinion also was careful to say that if the prayers ever become overwhelmingly dominated by one religion, that could be a problem,” said Caplan on KNX-1070 AM.
