Professor Robert Benson Scholarship
Thank you for your interest in supporting the Professor Robert Benson Scholarship. All gifts in any amount are appreciated.
Robert “Bob” Benson taught courses that gave voice to his passion for social justice, including International Trade and the Environment, Law of Global Warming, International Protection of Human Rights, and Corporate Legal and Ethical Accountability. Bob was also a central figure behind the decision to have our campus designed by what was then a little-known architect named Frank Gehry.
Bob Benson was a remarkable teacher and colleague. As a memorial to Bob, a scholarship was created in his name and honor. The Professor Robert Benson Scholarship would be made available to students with interest in environmental law or human rights.
