Flu Preparedness and Procedures

Announcement Archives

October 8, 2009

This notice outlines some procedures the Law School has implemented out of widespread concern that this flu season may be particularly severe. We are undertaking these efforts to help ensure your health and the health of the Law School community as a whole. We appreciate your continued cooperation in supporting the Law School’s efforts to provide a safe and healthy campus.

Reporting Class Absences Due to Illness

  • We need to keep track of the spread of flu in our community. It is imperative for students to self-report class absences due to illness at http://intranet.lls.edu/announcement/flu/student/report.php, the Law School’s official flu website,  by checking that you are absent due either to flu-like symptoms or other illness.

Access to Class Recordings

  • If you are ill we want you to stay home. Not only will this allow you to recover sooner, it will protect others.  All classes will be recorded and class recordings will be made available to students who miss class due to illness. More information on how to obtain class recordings can be found on the Law School’s official flu website, http://intranet.lls.edu/announcement/flu/student/report.php.
