Joint & Advanced Degree Programs

Loyola offers a number of joint and advanced degree options. Students are able to pursue a dual JD/MBA degree, which is completed in four years.  Graduates of the dual degree program receive a JD from the Law School and the MBA from Loyola Marymount University.

We also have two LLM programs.

The Tax LLM is offered both in a traditional format, full-time or part-time after completion of the JD, and in a Joint JD/Tax LLM format, through which students can complete both degrees in three years.  The latter program is also available to visiting JD students from other US law schools.

The LLM for Foreign-Trained Attorneys allows attorneys who have completed their legal studies outside the US to earn a US Master of Laws degree.
The Master of Tax Law program makes the same Tax LLM curriculum and training available to non-lawyers, in a format intended to assist students in meeting the California "fifth year" CPA licensure requirements.
