Rabbi Yitzchok Adlerstein directs Project Next Step, a project of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, and holds the Sydney M. Irmas Chair in Jewish Law and Ethics at Loyola. He has taught at Loyola since 1996. In Spring 2009 he is teaching Contemporary Issues and Jewish Law.
Josh Armstrong received his BA from the University of Vermont and his JD from Georgetown University. In Spring 2009 he is teaching Business Planning 1.
Eduardo Angeles works in the Los Angeles City Attorney's office. He received his BA from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his JD from Hastings College of Law. In Spring 2009 he is teaching Local Government Law.
Michael Berger practices law in Encino. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio University and his JD from Southwestern University. He is teaching Trusts and Wills during the Spring Semester 2009. He finds estate planning “a fascinating area of practice because you learn a lot about human psychology and what drives people, the good and the bad. I bring in materials from the outside to show students how these laws affect their daily lives.”
Joey Blanche works in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office. He received his BA at Utah State University and his JD at Harvard Law School. He is teaching Trial Advocacy in Spring 2009.
Marc E. Brown is a partner at McDermott Will & Emery and is head of the firm’s patent procurement practice in Los Angeles. He received his BSEE from Case Western Reserve University and his JD from George Washington University. In Spring 2009 he is teaching Patent Prosecution.
Linda Bulmash received her BA from UCLA and her JD from Whittier College School of Law. She is a full time mediator and negotiator with ADR Services, Inc. and writes a monthly column for the Los Angeles County Bar, "One Minute Negotiation Tips." In Spring 2009 she is teaching Introductions to Negotiation.
David Burch is head of Library Computing Services at Loyola’s William M. Rains Library. In Spring 2009 he is teaching Advanced Legal Research. He received his JD from Louisiana State University, LLM from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and his MSLS from University of Missouri-Columbia.
Laura Cadra is Head of Reference and Foreign and International Law Librarian at Loyola’s Willliam M. Rains Library. She received her BA from the University of California at Santa Barbara, her JD from UC Hastings College of Law and her MLIS from the University of California at Berkeley. In Spring 2009 she is teaching Advanced Legal Research.
Sara Campos is the Assistant Director of Case Management at Loyola’s Center for Conflict Resolution. She received her BA from UCLA and her JD from Loyola Law School. During Spring 2009 she is teaching Mediation Advocacy.
Jerilyn Cohen of Barnard & Associates received her BA from UCLA and her JD from Southwestern University School of Law. In Spring 2009 she is teaching Legal Drafting.
Monique Cordray works at Amgen Inc. She received her BA from West Virginia University, Morgantown, and her JD from the University of Florida College of Law. In Spring 2009 she is teaching Patent Litigation.
Hon. David J. Cowan, Judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, received his BA from Columbia University and his JD from Hastings College of the Law. He is teaching Real Estate Foreclosure Law in Spring 2009.
Jeffrey H. Dasteel is a partner in Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP, where he specializes in international and domestic arbitrations, mediations, franchise law, and general commercial litigation. He received a BA from the University of California at Davis, an MA from UCLA, and a JD from Loyola. He is teaching Trial Advocacy during Spring 2009.
Rebecca Delfino is a Senior Judicial Attorney with the California Court of Appeal, Second District. She received her BA from UCLA and her JD from the University of California at Davis. In Spring 2009 she is serving as Advisor to the Scott Moot Court Honors Program.
John A. Donovan works at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP. He received his BA at Harvard University and his JD at Fordham University School of Law. He is teaching Trial Advocacy in Spring 2009.
Erin Dunkerly is a graduate of Barnard College and received her JD from Loyola Law School. She is an Associate at Collins, Collins, Muir + Stewart, LLP in South Pasadena. In Spring 2009 she is serving as a Scott Moot Court Coach.
George Fatheree III received his BA from Harvard-Radcliffe and his JD from Loyola Law School. He is teaching Educational Law in Spring 2009.
Elisa Fernandez is an Assistant United States Attorney. She received her BA from Harvard University and her JD from Boalt Hall.& She is teaching Trial Advocacy in Spring 2009.
David B. (“Dov”) Fischer, an Orthodox Rabbi, received his Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia University and his JD from UCLA. He has a general civil litigation practice in Irvine, and specializes in complex business issues and cases involving alleged workplace discrimination. He is teaching Civil Procedure II and Torts II in Spring 2009.
James W. Gilliam is an Associate at Paul Hastings in Los Angeles, where he is a member of the firm’s securities litigation practice. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Middle Tennessee State University and his JD from Loyola Law School. In Spring 2009 he is teaching a seminar in Sexual Orientation and the Law.
Tai Glenn is Directing Attorney of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles’ Housing Unit. Glenn received a BA from the University of North Texas and a JD From Loyola Law School. In Spring 2009 Glenn is teaching Landlord/Tenant Law.
Thomas Goethals is a Judge of the Orange County Superior Court. In Spring 2009 he is teaching Trial Advocacy.
James Harris received his BA at Brown University and his JD at the University of Chicago School of Law. He is teaching Federal Courts in Spring 2009.
Hon. Rex Heeseman is a Judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court. He is teaching California Business Torts in Spring 2009.
Sean K. Kennedy is the Federal Public Defender for the Central District of California. He is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University and Loyola Law School. In Spring 2009 he is teaching Death Penalty Law.
Tannaz Kouhpainezhad works in the Office of the California Attorney General. Kouhpainezhad received her BA from U.C. Santa Barbara and her JD from Loyola Law School. In Spring 2009 Kouhpainezhad is teaching Animal Law.
Miriam Aroni Krinsky is a Lecturer in the UCLA School of Public Affairs. She received both her BA and JD from UCLA. She is teaching Advocating for Vulnerable Children in Spring 2009.

Tom Neches, Managing Partner of Thomas Neches & Company LLP, received his BA from U.C. San Diego and his MS from UCLA. He is teaching Accounting for Lawyers in Spring 2009.
Beverly O'Connell, Judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, is teaching Advanced Trial Advocacy in Spring 2009.
Ruth Phelps, a partner at at Phelps, Schwarz & Phelps, received her BA from Immaculate Heart College and both a JD and an LL.M in Taxation from Loyola Law School. She is teaching Elder Law in Spring 2009.
Rahul Ravipudi works at Panish Shea & Boyle LLP. He received his BA from UC Riverside and his JD from Loyola Law School. He is teaching Trial Advocacy in Spring 2009.
Cristian Ramorino has his law practice in Santa Clarita. He received his BA from California State University at Northridge and his JD from Loyola Law School. He is teaching Spanish for Lawyers in Spring 2009.
Hon. Alex Ricciardulli, Los Angeles County Superior Court Div. 66, spent more than fifteen years as a criminal defense attorney at both the trial and appellate levels. He is teaching Sentencing and Post-Conviction Remedies in Spring 2009.
Keith Rohman has been president of Public Interest Investigations, Inc., for the last 25 years. A licensed private investigator, Rohman has worked on civil and criminal cases of all types including litigation related to the torture of prisoners at Abu Ghraib, allegations of shootings of Iraqis by Blackwater, Inc., the trial against Los Angeles police officers accused of beating Rodney King, and criminal defense investigations in death penalty cases in California, Utah, Alaska, Arizona, and Washington. In Spring 2009 he is teaching Fact Investigation.
Chuck Rosenberg works at Rosenberg & Mendlin. He received his JD at Antioch College and his JD at Harvard University School of Law. He is teaching Law and Popular Culture in Spring 2009.
Robert Rotstein works at Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp LLP. He received both his BA and JD from UCLA. In Spring 2009 he is teaching a seminar in Advanced Copyright Law.
Jason Rubel works at the Alternate Public Defender office. He received his BA from UCLA and his JD from Loyola Law School. He is teaching Trial Advocacy in Spring 2009.
Sandor Samuels is Senior Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer at Countrywide Home Loans. He received his BA from Princeton University and his JD from UCLA School of Law. In Spring 2009 he is teaching Employment Discrimination Law.
David Steele is a partner at Christie Parker Hale LLP. He received his BA from California State Polytechnic University and his JD from Loyola Law School. In Spring 2009 he is teaching Trademark Law.
Christine Steiner of the Law Offices of Christine Steiner, received her BA from Johns Hopkins University and her JD from the University of Maryland School of Law. She is teaching Art and the Law in Spring 2009.
Newel Lee Straus is with NBC Universal Network Television, where he is Director of Business Affairs. Straus received his BA from the University of Southern California and his JD from Loyola Law School. In Spring 2009 he is teaching TV Programming and Production Financing.
Dirk Vincent of Fairbank & Vincent received his BA from Pacific Lutheran University and his JD from Columbia University School of Law. He is teaching Civil Discovery in Spring 2009.
Dorothy Vinski works at Salus Surgical Group. She received her BA from UCLA and her JD from Loyola Law School. In Spring 2009 she is teaching Business Planning: Financing the Start-up Business.
Paul VonBlum received his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and his JD from Berkeley’s Boalt Hall. For many years, he has worked to develop our students’ writing skills. He is continuing in that role during Spring 2009.
Alan Wallace received his BA from UCLA and his JD from Loyola Law School. He is teaching Secured Transactions in Real Property in Spring 2009.
Brian Walton has held many positions in entertainment law including serving as Executive Director of the Writers Guild of America and of the Producers Guild of America. He has also worked with the Screen Actors Guild. Walton received his BA from Brigham Young University and his JD from the University of Utah College of Law. In Spring 2009 he is teaching Trade Secrets Law.
Dana M. Warren did his undergraduate work at Montana State University and received his JD from Stanford Law School. Warren has a broad background in transactional law. During Spring 2009 he is teaching Business Planning I.
Andrew Waters of Waters & Kraus LLP received his BA from the College of William & Mary and his JD from the University of Houston Law Center. He is teaching Admiralty Law in Spring 2009.
Joel Weinberg works at ASK Financial. He received his BA from Stanford University and his JD at Loyola Law School. He is teaching Bankruptcy Law in Spring 2009.
Gia Honnen Weisdorn is a graduate of the University of San Diego and received her law degree from Columbia University. In Spring 2009 she is teaching Securities Regulation.
