Students are required to participate in four skills training course. Participating students benefit from a wide range of practical training, with lectures from practitioners and judges, including the Hon. Frederick J. Lower (ret.), Los Angeles Superior Court. As a result, LLS' alumni outnumber alumni from other law schools in many areas impacting legal practice in Southern California and across the nation.

Partners

LLS ranks in the top 25 nationally representation among the partnership ranks at the 100 largest law firms as ranked by the National Law Journal in the NLJ 100, according to the Journal of Legal Education study "Where Do Partners Come From?" by Loyola Professor Ted Seto. Moreover, Loyola ranks as the No. 2 feeder school to the partner suite in the Los Angeles area.

Top Practitioners

Super Lawyers magazine has featured Loyola's prowess in its provision of lawyers who make an impact. It ranked Loyola No. 29 on its 2010 list of law schools. Additionally, Loyola had more alumni on the 2012 list of Southern California Super Lawyers than any other law school.
