Application Procedures

Applying to the Clinic is a two-step process. First, applicants must submit the below materials and will be pre-screened by the Clinical Teaching Team. Thereafter, selected applicants will be offered an interview. 

To apply, please submit all of the following by e-mail to with the subject line "LIJC Application 2016-2017":

  • Resume
  • Transcript (transcripts without 2016 Spring grades are acceptable)
  • Personal statement, not to exceed one page or 300 words (indicating the reasons and/or interests for enrolling in the course)

Note: applications are due by Wednesday March 25, 2016 at 5pm.

Once applications are received and reviewed, applicants who are selected will be scheduled for a 15-minute interview with Clinical Staff Attorneys and Co-Directors Emily Robinson and Marissa Montes.
